Da Vinci seniors are invited to attend the National College Fair followed by a trip to St. Johns College in Santa Fe where they will be able to experience a college seminar.

This Month…

On Saturday, September 24, the Engineering Team here at Da Vinci will host a group of professors from the University of Alabama at Huntsville (UAH). The professors will be in town to work with the Engineering Team on a series of engineering related events.

The event is open to all students and parents for the morning session only, but attendance is mandatory for all juniors and seniors.

The day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and run until 3:00 p.m.
Lunch will be provided at a cost of $4 per students.
Please make plans to attend.

Da Vinci Choir Serenades Student Body

On Friday, September 9, 2011, the student body was treated to several ensemble and individual performances by members of the Da Vinci Choir during each of the five lunch periods.

Students were treated to performances of songs by artists such as Evanescence and Adele. While the choir enjoyed providing the entertainment, the audience was thrilled to witness the vocal ranges and abilities of the choir.

After the outstanding performances, fifty-four students signed up to participate in the choir.

Volleyball

The Da Vinci Varsity Lady Dragons began their Girls’ Volleyball schedule the week of Sept. 6 by losing a hard fought match against Bethesda.

This was followed by a second closely played game that was extended to five sets against Ft. Yermo on September 13. Currently the varsity record stands at 0-2.

The JV Lady Dragons also began their volleyball schedule the week of Sept. 6. Currently their record is 2-0.

Boys Indoor Soccer

The Da Vinci boys won their first indoor scorer game of the season by a score of 9-8 over Tec de Monterrey on Friday, September 2.

Fall Soccer

Da Vinci Fall Soccer is set to begin on September 20.
