Any student who meets the eligibility requirements can apply, but they must ensure their application is complete. The application, along with all requested information, is used to understand the student better. It does not influence the admissions decision.<\/p>\n<p>The program has two application periods each year: one in the fall semester and one in the spring semester.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fall Application:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Fall application is available to any Da Vinci 9th grader.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spring Application:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Spring application is available to any Da Vinci 8th or 9th grader.<\/p>\n<p>To apply, submit the 2024-2025 DV\/EPCC Early College Program Application.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/documents\/el-paso-education-initiative\/echs\/application-2025spr.pdf\" style=\"background-color:#0C4E27;border:2px solid #F8C727;padding:.5em;border-radius:.3em;color:#FFF\">Spring 2025 Application<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Important Application Information<\/h2>\n<ul><li>Applications will be accepted until all spaces are filled.<\/li><li>For questions or assistance with the ECHS application process, please contact Melissa Longoria, Project Specialist for the DaVinci Early College Program, at <a href=\"mailto:mlongoria@burnhamwood.org\">mlongoria@burnhamwood.org<\/a> or Elisa Martinez at <a href=\"mailto:emartinez@burnhamwood.org\">emartinez@burnhamwood.org<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h2>After Applying<\/h2>\nOnce accepted, students must take the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) college readiness test. They will also need to attend two Saturday School sessions for program orientation, college readiness activities, and TSI test preparation, if necessary. Details on testing and other dates will be provided with the acceptance notification.<\/p>\n<p>Students who achieve the required TSI college readiness scores by the end of the fall semester can begin EPCC classes in the Spring of 2025. Those who do not meet the college-readiness standards will have opportunities for additional TSI preparation and re-testing throughout the school year, with the goal of starting Early College classes in Fall 2025 or the following school year. Students who do not pass the TSI by the end of their 10th grade will be unable to continue in the ECHS program.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"espanol\">Espa\u00f1ol<\/h2>\nEl programa Da Vinci ECHS funciona con un sistema de admisi\u00f3n abierta.
