The test identifies whether a student is college-ready or determines the type of courses or interventions needed to help them prepare for college-level work.

Upon acceptance into the ECHS program, students are required to take the TSI test. To begin taking college classes at Da Vinci, students must achieve college-readiness scores in the English Language Arts (ELAR) section of the test. If they do not meet the college-readiness criteria initially, the ECHS program offers TSI preparation and re-testing opportunities.

Students must pass the TSI by the fall of their 10th-grade year and begin taking ECHS classes in the spring of 10th grade to qualify for the Associate Degree track. Those who pass the TSI by the summer before 11th grade may have the opportunity to complete the Core Curriculum track. Students who pass the TSI after this point may still have the chance to complete some ECHS courses by graduation, depending on their high school schedule.

Español

La Escuela Preparatoria Temprana Da Vinci busca que nuestra población estudiantil ECHS sea diversa.
