Linguistic Academy is now an International Baccalaureate (IB) candidate school

  • We are excited to share that Linguistic Academy is now an International Baccalaureate (IB) candidate school! This is a big step for our campus and a reflection of our commitment to helping students grow as curious, confident, multilingual learners.

As we begin this journey, our teachers will participate in IB training and our classrooms will include more opportunities for students to explore questions, make connections, and learn about the world around them. IB candidacy means we are actively engaged in the authorization process and steadily moving toward meeting the high standards of the IB program.

We can’t wait to share this journey with our families. Thank you for supporting our students as they become caring, thoughtful, globally minded learners.

The Linguistic Academy of El Paso is a Candidate School* for the Primary Years Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that The Linguistic Academy of El Paso believes is important for our students.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP).
