The Linguistic Academy of El Paso: A Cultural Demonstration Site
We are in the process of planning for the Da Vinci Cheer Season which kicks off in August 2022, but we need to get an estimate of the number of students wanting to participate. Before school starts, we will have a cheer pre-season clinic/camp for all cheerleaders to learn the basics of stunting, game day cheers, and game day routines from August 1-4, 2022. Students must complete a physical before attending practice and pre-season. Students wanting to participate should complete this form by July 1, 2022. More information about what is required is available on the form itself. Don’t wait until the last day! Spots will be filled in the order the forms are received.
The graduation ceremony and dinner will take place Friday, May 27, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in the Da Vinci Auditorium. Dress code is Sunday Best. All graduates, please submit the RSVP. If you have any questions, please contact mlongoria@burnhamwood.org.
The Da Vinci Annual Awards Assembly will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 6:30 P.M. in the Da Vinci Auditorium. To reserve your place, RSVP using this form. If you have trouble with the form, contact mlongoria@burnhamwood.org.
The Da Vinci International Club will be hosting the Drive-Thru Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, May 14 from 8:30 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at the DV cafeteria. Plates are only $6 and include 1 large pancake, eggs, bacon, sausage, and choice of orange juice or coffee. Please contact Mrs. Montes Anchondo by Tuesday, May 10 to place your order at janchondo@burnhamwood.org or fill out this Google Form.
The City of El Paso will be offering free COVID-19 vaccines and flu shots at Da Vinci on Thursday, April 21 from 4-6 P.M. Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines are available for anyone 5 years old and older. Flu shots are available for anyone 2 years and older. Vaccines are free and no appointment is required. For more information, see EPCOVIDVaccine.com.
